To put it simply, YES, they are. But we are helping them mature. it took me a year to help my wife learn that the world was ending due to our baby having a cold.

I tend  to dwell on the positives. I find them sweet, sometimes innocent, moody maybe. Who cares? Am I childish, absolutely.

My girlfriend is Chinese, but fortunately she doesn't like childish Hello Kitty, childish clothes, poses and talking. Many Chinese girls think if they are childish (in China it can be cute) they will get more attention from boys, others will think and maybe say that they are cute. Chinese boys like it, so they do it. Culture difference.

In Asia, you can see many girls, or  women with age of 30+ who like and wear childish cartoon characters on clothes, on cell phone, etc, and/or act childish.

Normally girls should stop these things in high school.
