Q: Are Chinese men more easily controlled than Western men?

It struck me that many women here pull the strings in the relationship. They control the finances, the household, the kids etc. and men just seem to go along with it. Could it be that many men here need to be mothered and controlled more or is this a false assumption?

I think women control and manipulate men every where. We really do have only one thing on our mind, but we never tell you that. We don't want to be bothered with all the detail stuff. Its how we control you, by letting you think you control everything.

agree with Ted on this its not just China it is everywhere. How many times have you passed a beer with mates to be with a girl instead. Bad to say but men will do anything for a shot below the belt

Oi, am I strange then? I like if a guy takes charge, as long as he keeps my opinions in mind. I get annoyed if I have to choose everything. If you mean that Chinese men seem more "whipped" or lazy, yeah, seems that way. What I find funny is that my male students can seem suave and in control when hanging with their friends speaking Chinese, but as soon as they have to speak English, they are the most shy and awkward guys I've ever seen. It's hard to know what a Chinese guy is like without actually getting to know him. While some do seem to need a mothering personality in their significant other, some guys are perfectly fine being "manly" and taking care of their girlfriend. I'm talking about the younger generation. A lot of these guys do not seem to have manners on their own, but if it's to help someone, they can be very polite.

GuilinRaf:

Yes. I have noticed the same. Especially the last part. We go on an on over how rude and "piggy" Chinese can be, yet when they DO act politely, they are totally AWESOME.

ye chinese guys are controlled to there every move, from their banks transaction , to their lunch , breakfast , dinner, shitting . there women do watch and kept their eye on them. whenever its a business trip they will go with them as its the best time for scandal around. chinese women are too pushy and doubtful minded, they can not judge your nature by staying with you for years. they have the fear in their minds...... feeling sorry for the chinese men..........

Depends on if the man needs to be controlled at all. I'm talking about gambling problems, drinking problems etc., If the person doesn't need to be controlled then let him go!

I am to particular about things so no woman could control me even though it would be a lot easier.

so i think Chinese men just do not give a damn so they go now you run things i no want to you do bad i call you stupid or  hit or leave you. so i think most just do not want the extra work and if anything make there women do it for then. what women wants to put up with that crap Chinese men want it and let it be known that they do.

A:Your potential employer is right! Purpose of the Medical exam before granting Z visa is to make sure, you won't be entering China in any abnormal and harmful to others condition.Few days after your arrival to China, you'll be required to complete another ME ... If ME in China will be OK, you'll get a Residence permit stamp into your book some 10-days afterwards. Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China.    So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards. Employer is not wrong at their demand for the pre-arrival ME from your home country hospital.   -- icnif77
