Q: Are the good times in China over?
The boom in China seems to be over. Does this mean tough times are ahead for those foreigners who are already in China?
The good times will be over soon everywhere. The world economy is like a global pyramid scheme. China is among the last to join. But we are running out of players and almost every country is operating on a deficit. And that's just one of the problems. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how this story ends.

I think the good times have just begun. It seems like they are trying to clean up a lot of things which indicates a positive move forward. Trying to clean the environment, check on who is here teaching etc., 
China is talking about using it's foreign reserves to prop up it's weak economy. That means more money goes into the economy, and inflation increases. So everything becomes more expensive, and yes - life becomes harder.

Yeah the good times are coming to an end, slowly but surely... But I'll have to stay in China for a longer for private and personal reasons.
