Q: Are Lenovo products any good?

My laptop is on its last legs but can't really afford a mac right now. I'm toying with the idea of getting a Lenovo one because it's cheaper but not sure if it's a reliable brand.

i think it is a good choice for you. compare with HP and DELL, Lenov. is more cheaper and service spot. and in china the others foreign brands products quality no better than lenovo.

My girlfriend bought one of the small laptops...it broke after 6 months, and when she tried to have it repaired, they charged her over 2000 RMB.

Turns out they try to screw people over with warranties (by simply claiming it was your fault - hey, what would you know about it).

I guess it's the common option here, but from my experience, quality hasn't exactly been great.
