Q: Are Liuzhou and Nanning worth seeing?

I haven't done much touring this trip. Liuzhou and Nanning are close to Guilin. Are they worth touring?

It will depend really and truly on what you do enjoy seeing.  Now, Nanning is a 2nd tier city, capital of the Guangxi Province.  Has about 20,000 foreigners living here, nice, modern and vibrant, many tree lined streets, many parks, museums, a Zoo, and other touristic areas.  Lizhou is a town to the northeast of Nanning.  A friend's wife comes from there and she claims is beautiful, her husband can not stand the place.

 

Google places to see, or tourist attractions, and if you find a few you may like to visit, then take the trip.
