Q: Are most shops/services open 7 days a week in China?
Recently, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that banks are and I was wondering if this applies to pretty much all shops and services in China.

Simple question Simple answer. Yes it is. Most shops are open 7 days a week. Some of the convenient stores and mcdonalds, kfc's are open 24/7!!

Depends in which city you are. In the bigger cities, most places are open pretty much every day of the week. In smaller cities, sometimes they close one day in the week.

except PSB, most things are open here everyday, there are other exceptions such as banks not open on Sundays, tax office not open in weekends. Anything that would be categorized as a store is open everyday, not sure why as they are often void of customers.
