Q: Are Thai, Malaysian, Singaporean nationality teachers accepted in China? Is there an age limitation?

1. Often in a job search, it is specifically mentioned that passport holders should be from UK, US, NZ, Australia or Africa only. Even those with no experience are accepted.

2. Is there an age limit to work in international schools in China?

You cannot legally teach English in China with non-English passport broken heart

... as it is a norm almost everywhere around the world.

... been there, done that ... for a longer term,  enlightened  before the Labour Law changes in China in 2017 ...

After that, I've tried as a non-English native teacher in Russia, Turkey and Spain, where you can maybe land a job today as a non-native English teacher for a significantly lower pay.

Detailed job market research is advised...

Good luck! ..., but IMO, it's not worth a hassle!

bellegrobbins:

Concerns about visa applications for teachers in China, noting that nationality may not be a big issue, but age restrictions, especially for those over 55, can affect approval and the ability to renew their work permit.
