Q: Are there any fellow South Africans around here?

I would love to hear from fellow South Africans about their experience of China, especially if they're in Dalian. Just general stuff about life, entertainment, staying in contact with friends and family, travelling - that kinda thing.

Just hang out in Friends Bar, Bobo Bar, Brooklyn Bar or any of the small bars next to the Shangrila and you will run across them.  There aren't many as they tend to not like the Dalian winter, but there are (or at least were when I lived there) a few running around.
