There are definetely some interesting temples to visit in Fujian province. I personally find Nanputuo temple in Xiamen very interesting. It is really big and have a very distinctive colourful style that is typical of Fujian. As far as i know this is the most famous and biggest temple in all of Fujian.

you have the adress here:

515 Siming Nanlu, Siming District, Xiamen
厦门市思明区思明南路515号

Cheers!

There is an absolutely gorgeous temple complex up a mountain near Fuzhou, I will try to find the name of that place and some information about it and get back to you.

Those temples in Fujian such as the Temple of Matsu and Temple of Guan Gong I have heard many great stories of that place. You can take a look at some websites and read reviews if you have never been. I haven't been to all of them but the one's that I have they were well worth it. The temples in China are so peaceful....frown

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
