Q: Are there any physical shops in China accepting BitCoin?

Can you buy a cup of coffee, a car or anything with BitCoins in China?

It would be a convinient way of not telling anyone about transferring funds in and out of China as banks are not involved.

Scandinavian:

the thing is. BitCoin is the perfect storage for ill-gotten funds, no gubbermint control.

No gov't control? I wanna know more. As it is now, the money I have earned in China stays in China, for the most part. I have little control over bank transfers and the like. What is it? An "alien" can wire only 500 USD per day (or week?) back to the home country, whereas a Chinese national can transact 10 times the amount per day/week. No control over my money. It's "earn it here, spend it here".

So BitCoin, eh? I must look into it...

You may set up you computer as mining machine for bitcoins. It take some month to get the investment back, but it may be worth it.  Not long time ago, the value jumped to sky-high level, but quickly dropped back.

Yeah, mostly used on payment for guns and drugs over shadow net, but also going to be popular with "masses".

It may be interesting alternative, as it is limited on production quantity, if I recall correct is 21.mil. pcs will be available only. than the value will increase rapidly. I am affraid, that maybe chinese supercomputer, can have only this tiny program for mining coins and dig it deep in theirs own pocket already
