Q: Are there any schools hiring English teachers ASAP?
English teacher looking for work.
2 weeks 16 hours ago in Teaching & Learning - China
no, there are no schools looking for teachers who are unable to recognise the word "jobs" on a website.

Sorry, I thought, you've all left ...
I see OP's problem different ...
Ages ago, when I was looking for the new position in China I was taking that as kind-of part time job and I was working in China in the same time ...
*Never stop sending CVs to the new job openings! ... not even when I already had few interviews lined up.
OP's ASAP notion never crossed my mind. Of course, I wanted new position finalized fast, but in China that never worked and especially not these days, when AI with virtual E.T.s' is widely in use for the fraction of the cost for a real laowai teacher. I started sending CVs' at least a month or two before my contract expiration and stopped only when I signed fresh contract.
Why ...?
As we old-timers know, Chinese will skip CV as soon as they aren't happy with something, either FT being too old, never been to China FT, overweight and many other for us trivial reasons or non-English native as it was in my case. Chinese recruiters will never send reply "Thank you! We filled the position .." like western recruiters do. They'll move on to the next, better job seeking offer, so when you're on the sender's side, you feel like you sent a CV to the one of the oceans ...
... and when I had an interview, I made sure, my English speaking was clear and understandable, because Chinese recruiters step in the future students' flip-flops and they won't give a pass to your too accented native English speech of which many native E.T.s are proud of.
*Speak English at interview as clear as it can be!
When in classroom, I spoke English the same. I am a short-cuts prone guy, and if I engage American or any other native English nation learned English accent with students, I'll have to repeat the same sentence several times.
Chinese students liked my Indian English draft ... 'larger payee' here ...
It was a great class breaker ...You can simultaneously open all mouths in the classroom at once ...
I was always engaging in normal English speech without many repeatings. I've also used blackboard at all times, i.e. 'speak & write' the same on the blackboard! ... with my command: "Copy that, pls.!'
That made my English teaching life much easier, especially when I was working in Turkey with Middle Eastern students later on ... 'cause to be able to learn to speak English, one must learn proper English writing in the same time..
My few non-native English pennies ...
Good luck and patience!
