Q: Are those cheap face masks you get at pharmacies any good?

I don't have a professional mask that filters our the pm 2.5 pollution but are the masks at Chinese pharmacies any good to use? They cost around 30 kuai for one which isn't too bad so I'm thinking that they might be a good solution until I buy a proper one online.

A mask against PM 2,5 is either working or not working properly. There's no corners cutting in the matter.

Get a proven one online, spend your money once.

2 days more or less won't matter much with the amount of pollution you've been through already.

Cheap paper filters work well for dust, like saw dust, but air pollution like CO2 is gas. You need a Darth Vader outfit.
