No, but if I were I'd be more competitive than you !

I have never entered into any local stuff. When in the pool, I always force myself to outswim the locals. I like smiling at them as I effortlessly (poker face) swim past them over and over again. 

No, I am not! ...unless challenged.

We were all drunk... at teacher's bash in Jixian, Hebei. One Chinese picked 2 peanuts (out of the shell) with chopsticks and hold them above his head.

After few minutes of trying, I got 3 nutters between choppies and lift ..... all Chinese started to yell: 'neu bi, neu bi,...' what was translated to me as 'awesome'.

Now, I am partially-NOT-fluent in Chinese, so once when I needed change for the bus, I stepped into the Bank with 10 Rmb note in my hand and asked counter person: 'new bi, new bi...' 

She: 'zhi bu dao'

I was suppose to say 'im bi'

You see, I like to compete .... with myself-oo ....

Apparently only when I win

Yes, I am. I hate losing... in pretty much anything competitive. 

But I need a good challenger or I get bored. 

Like Rob, I prefer a good competition to the need to win. One-sided games are incredibly boring.

A few of us guys & gals in HZ have regular boardgames sessions. Sure, I like to win, and it's funny to whitewash everyone... but it's always more fun and intense when there's a real competition going on.

But, as i said on Monday in a game where a decision meant (in-game) life or death... "it's only a game- I call it". (died)

I like trivia - but hate the smokey rooms they're held in here :(  I also like asking the questions. (Q - GoT was written by George RR Martin - what does RR stand for?)

Not really, but I do get satisfaction from being better at something than other people. Actually I suppose I am sometimes.
