Q: Are your friends and/or students bored this holiday ?

As a teacher in China I've heard from a few of my students and friends that they are already bored in this holiday. Yet, I can find a variety of activities to do to keep busy even if they are not so exciting.

What can be boring about the number one holiday in this country?

Are students missing out on the wi fi access to use their mobile phones?

I suspect it is because so many students rely on their phones/computers for 'entertainment'  that they have little resources within themselves to find things to do.

I spend my time during this holiday with family and friends, doing things like going for walks, cultural activities, cooking, and most of all re-connecting with the important people in my life. Even sitting chatting with them for a couple of hours is enjoyable.

Boredom can be a good thing: i find it makes me creative in areas of my life that i usually don't have time for: i have re-discovered some hobbies i had that i no longer have time during the semester.
