What was it that awed you?

I remember being awed (not really sure that's the right word but whatever) by things like the sheer number of people everywhere, the insane driving and the fact that when I looked out the window I would see miles and miles of gray concrete.

I always thought these things were awful, but fascinating at the same time.

I remember you saying before that you thought foreigners only learned chinese to pick up girls and that people would only seek out friends for money.

So it sounds like you have had this feeling for a while. 

I'm not trying to be one of those "If you don't love it 100% completely you should go home!" kinda people. But if you don't feel like being here has much to offer you anymore maybe it's time to call it quits.

For some it takes just a year to realize, for others it takes seven or ten, but the fact is that China is really only suitable for brainwashed Chinese people and any westerner with a bit of common sense and self-respect will eventually get the fuck out of here.

Only a few months ..... not bad at all.

It's the loud talking that gets me. It drives me crazy. There was one guy on the bus today practically screaming in my ear. I finally asked him if his hearing was bad.
