I am not clear what you mean by "breaks".

For most English speakers, a break is a rest period between classes or during work.

If your work permit/visa is tied into that learning center then it will be very hard to just quit and work somewhere else. Yes you can get it transferred at another company but you only have a few days to do it and your current employer would need to give you a release form which they may try not to give you if you just quit and broke their contract.

If you want to leave your best bet is to sit down and talk with them and try to work out an agreement where you won't leave until they find a replacement but in exchange they wont cancel your work permit right away after you leave so you still have time to find a new job and get it transferred.

BTW, what type of Visa are you on?  That makes a huge difference in your ability to quit/leave when you want.

I don't mean to be rude but when you shoudl typically only use the word "an" when the following word starts with a letter vowel (a,e,i,o,u).....for example when you "an training center" that's wrong, it's suppose to be "a training center"....however if you sad "i have an employer" that would be correct because the word following the word 'an' starts with a vowel.............. again not trying to be rude, just trying to help you out with a common mistake a lot of non native speakers make.

let me tackle this. you are complaining that you are working less hours than promised?

why is this a problem?

oh i see you can't read a contract. "10,000rmb for upto 40 hours ..." that means your salary is x regardless of the hours worked. if it said anything different i would not have signed the contract. (now i understand why this is anon). of course people will promise you the moon when they are trying to get you. but you have to have enough sense to read and understand the contract. if they did not break the contract you are in the wrong.

i have said this before and i'll say it again . if you can't read a contract then do not come to china. there are many schools that will flat out break the contract, but if you can't understand the contract that is not the school's fault.

if i am wrong, please copy and paste the details regarding salary (every article that deals with pay)

if i am wrong and you are getting the full salary for much less hours, then why are you complaining? the busy time for language schools is during the summer break and winter break. enjoy the lite workload.

Anyone and everyone who even thinks about being a teacher in China should read this link:

You might then consider another occupation unless you are REALLY that lazy.  There is another article about agents at the same site that is also worth reading.

"Hi there I have just accepted an job as a oral english teacher in an training center"

Here's what I got from your post: "Hi there, I have just accepted a handjob as an oral English teacher in a training center. But I'm supposed to be an ORAL teacher!"

How in the heck are you able to get, let alone retain a job teaching English? Crimochina is right. Please go back to your own country and study English there until you learn the basics. My wife's English is much better and more concise than yours, and hers... well, let's just say it's not too good.

And to answer your question (you asked one, right? Right?): yes, it's a bad training center. It's a VERY BAD training center. After all, they hired you.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
