I think your "friend" is super pathetic. " He" entered into a third world arranged marriage. Claiming it has nothing to do with money just based on the kindness of your heart that her or het parents couldnt possibly know was the case based on weekly tanslator meetings. If you cant find anyone and need a mail order bride thats your business but why bring it here???
So, no experience of committed relationship before, can't communicate in a common language, large cultural gap (how much exposure to each other culture they have ?) and shy. What can possibly go wrong ?
