Q: (Beijing) Where can I buy the tshirt that says: 'I'm not easy but we can talk about it'?

I really want to buy one of these shirts and I've seen a bunch of Chinese people wearing them around Beijing but I've never seen them being sold. Anyone have any idea where I can pick one up?

They probably had their shirt customized somewhere. Most places will do that. All you need to do is provide them with the layout, words or whatever it is you want on the shirt. Provide them with a T-shirt and they will put whatever you want on it. It's called customizing your shirt!

Agreed, there are tons of shops that do that,

i tried to explain a t shirt to my english majors once , a class with 25 girls and 3 boys,

the t shirt said"when god made man, she was only joking", nobody understood the humor even after explanation, the chinese who wear the shirt probably dont know what it means.

Humour is a curious thing. It seems to me that when you can understand the humour of a culture, you can understand the culture a great great deal. And, yeh, I don't understand the Chinese culture; i've watched comedy shows on tv a few times, and hearing an electronic synthisizer go BOINGGG as the camera quickly pans in and out, just doesn't quite tickle my funny bone yet.

I'd guess somewhere on NLGX sells or can print these shirts for you. Last fall I was walking down the street when a similar-ish shirt being sold by a street vendor caught my eye. It said:

Ommunism          (no C added for some reason?)

Atheism

It was so weird, I had to buy it, even though it was a XS woman's shirt. It's currently pulled over the desk chair in my bedroom.

martian. It could be worse you could have American TV humor where the laughing is dubbed in.. Only 5% of it is funny. I dislike it so much that I do not watch US TV comedy Franck3

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
