Hey guys,
I found that my iPhone has no reception when I take the subway train. Other people using their phones have full 3G. How come?
My provider is China Mobile. Should I change to Unicom or Telecom?

There are three main telephone providers in China, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. In my experience with the first two, I am more pleased with China Mobile service than with China Telecom, never had a call interrupted for loss of signal with Mobile. I have no experience with Unicom, but hear a lot of complains from Chinese friends.
To answer my question:
Ive bought a China Unicom card because they always have signal in the metro stations and aswell when the metro is driving. Internet (3G) and calls.
China Mobile told me they only sometimes have signal and never when it is driving while also not providing 3G.
China Telecom has a CDMA network and therefore isn't useable with most phones.
if you want use 3G , i think China Unicom is better , for 2g network , china mobile is better , but if you don't know better of china moble , it's will be cost much money .
i'm a chinese , sorry for my bad english .
You should stick with China Mobile. As far as losing signal in the subway it happens all the time because of bad reception. Don't really blame your provider it's more of the subway's fault than your phone provider. I've heard many positive things about China Mobile and I haven't heard much of anything about the others. I also use China Mobile and to me it's not that bad.
China Unicom works excellent in the metro. Calls and 3G Internet with only a few interruptions.
China Mobile mostly does not have receiption in the subway. Also the prices are higher.
For China Unicom I only pay 60 kuai a month for 300mb Internet plus 60min free calls
pus 120 free messages.
