Q: Best Chinese movies?
What are some good Chinese movies? Anything works, but if it has to do with history then that would be super. I've been a bit bored and wanna see something cool. I've watched the movie "Mongol" before and recommend that. I don't feel like watching Confucius. Is there anything out there? How was 3 kingdoms?

Blind Shaft, I loved that movie, and it was before living in China.
The road home was good. Not strictly Chinese but crouching tiger hidden dragon is in putonghua and is one of the best movies I have seen. Some people find the flying stupid but they wouldn't know art if it smacked them in the face. Zhang ziyi is so beautiful
Kung Fu Hustle (not Panda) was pretty cool and strange.

But then there are some people (and countries) that get 'hurt feelings' at the slightest thing
dont know the name of the movie but the taishan or taian earthquake movie is pretty good.
