Q: Best Chinese recruitment agencies to contact for jobs in sports marketing or football coaching?

Hi guys,

Anyone know of any good agencies for finding jobs in sports marketing or football/soccer coaching?  I'm qualified in both.

Most of the ads on here are fake, just looking for English teachers.

Help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,

There are some job adverts on Yahoo-gle with 'Football coaching jobs in China' in search.

It's not that popular job vacancy in China, and I don't think you'll find an agent specialized in football coaching.

I asked my Chinese buddy who works with FTs, but he doesn't reply for now.

OK, I got his reply: 'I'll try to help him (you)!'.

His email is 'enkebeijing@hotmail.com', Skype handle 'Allen Jia'. Get in touch with him.

Just a thought, If you are new in China, and can't speak Chinese... get in touch with the international schools and Universities and explain your skills/qualifications. Most probably if they have a curriculum for sports they would probably hire you. Or if not, at least it will give you some connection or possibly some idea where to look...  I am not into, well... anything related to you mentioned... though this is what I would do. Good Luck!

There has been a couple of jobs in China on Glassdoor recently related to football and football coaching. It is not really something I know a lot about so I can't comment on the standard that they may be looking for but it is certainly worth a look on the website.

Here's one to get you started:

(Yeah, I know it's in Dutch but it seems the main language they are looking for is English).

I am sure you know of one. For the record, President Xi is a football fan. Remember when he done the selfie with Cameron at a Manchester football ground? Can you explain the problem with that photo, as a football professional?

A football business/management executive, and you come to a forum full of random misfits asking career advice? Bahahahaha. You are going to fit in perfectly in China.

Check his duplicate question. He's allegedly an ex finance guy from London who's been "teaching" English for years as he couldn't get a job in Macdonalds

Maybe he was the manager of the soccer team at #367 Middle School in an 888th tier city and the executive in charge of cutting oranges for half-time and the executive dancing white monkey of forwign language studies at said school. With that experience he should be looking at running Gz Evergrand.

You could try the large recruitment firms such as Hays, Michael Paige, etc.

However, I think LinkedIn.com would be best for your field of interest.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
