Q: Best curry in Beijing?

Sorry for it being a specific question! I went to a place called "Raj," in the Gulou area and was pleasantly surprised as I've only ever heard Ganges is the place to go. The other one I've tried is Punjabi on Lucky Street, but are your experiences?

I went to one Indian restaurant around THE PLACE, but I was not happy with the food. The music videos they were playing were entertaining, but I wouldn't go back to that Curry place. I've heard of GANGES and seen it, but I've never been.

Ganges is by far the most popular choice here. I think there's like 3-4 branches now. The food is alright I guess. I've been to Mughal's restaurant in Sanlitun Village (4th floor of Nali Patio) several times. I prefer their palak paneer, although it's a bit more expensive.

I used to really like this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant on the south end of Nanluoguxiang (on the turnoff to get to Great Leap) although I believe it closed.
