I visited all of them, buTT..I forgot which one had the 'rarest' fish. Click on the individual pic for addresses (hotels mostly) in Beijing.

Below the last pic., it says:

'Report Abuse' in blue. I think, in that joint you can complain, if 'your fish' isn't smelly that mucho!

However, sign in blue moves as soon somebody (like me) file a comment!

Thanks, Icnif. Anyone else have suggestions? Maybe something with good price/quality ratio? Or based on experience rather than a yahoo picture search?

One of my colleagues recommends Shotamuni Restaurant. Lunchtimes are always bustling in this local chain of Japanese restaurant known for its inventive rolls and fresh sashimi and sushi. Discounts are offered every Friday. Another popular Sushi brand here is Matsuko, which has been serving up sushi buffets since 1992. It feeds white collar types with spread of sushi, sahimi, nodles and more. It is a little bit expensive, considering its cumulative popularity.

Personally like izakayas (Japanese gastro-pubs) more than traditional sushi joints

Tsukinokime in Chaoyang

Izaka-YA in Chaoyang

The Zen in Dongcheng & chaoyang

Addresses & menu you can look up @ www.spoonhunt.com

You can just search sushi, or select japanese cuisine on the site.
