Q: Best way to keep husband going? ;)

It's full of expats here so maybe i can leech off some ideas. Wink
You guys made me paranoid (especially you Njord!) with Chinese girls jumping at every Westerner passing by, even if he's married. Well since I have nothing much to do, I thought I'd give my lovely hubby some nice surprises, even though Chinese Valentine was yesterday (or was it the day before yesterday?)

Anyways, I was wondering what you, expats, would love to receive as gift from a non-Chinese wife. Maybe not just gifts, but ideas so he can more easily resist the temptation here in China Wink

Something that doesn't involve evil temptresses would be way better, don't you think? Wink

nothing spices up a marriage like an evil temptress. i know something like that could only bring me and my wife closer together. at least i like to think it would.
besides im not even married.

Fister,

You need to tick two boxes:

a) make him feel pampered, and

b) involve something 'manly'.

So, based on his interests, you need to find something that is special to him, something he'd definitely enjoy, and something a bit special that he wouldn't otherwise do normally. Some suggestions: go-karting, rock-climbing, buying him an Xbox (!), paying for tennis/bowling/kung-fu lessons etc. Or even better, get lessons you guys can attend together, like dance (nothing girly though. Sexy and fiery works: think salsa not linedance)

If it involves or includes beer, even better. Have a think about what he likes, and do something special. If he's a total nerd, then you could arrange a Star Trek movie night, or buy him the entire collection of Harry Potter 7 action figures, or a really old copy of the original Batman comic.

It's not that hard to think of a good gift/surprise.

If all else fails, buy some sexy lingerie, get a bottle of champagne and ice bucket, and spend the whole night doing the jelly rodeo!

Do something spontaneous, like plan a trip out of the city together...preferably something more unusual, like a camping weekend with just you, him, wine, packed food and nature. Buying a present or going for dinner gets boring after a while. Show him your spark of creativity and your spontaneous side...any guy's into that.
