Q: Boyfriend manipulation?

I have a few foreign friends with Chinese girlfriends, and when we hang out I've often heard the girlfriends saying the same thing out of earshot when they're either angry or want something:

"Ni jiu bu ai wo. Ni jiu bu wo!"

My guy friends, mostly foreigners, have complained about this openly when their meinus are not around...what's up with that? is this how girls get attention here? Most of the time they pull this off for no reason...I don't get it

It's attention getting, its their move how they try to keep their men's attention. Also part of why there are so many extra-marital affairs i would say
