The same can be said of any country with common access to electronic gadgets, cars, etc. Using a car for everything, even doing groceries. Using whatever gadget for most communications, because setting a precise meeting point at a precise time seems too much to ask for, etc. I don't think China is much worst than others on that. They might walk faster in that direction.
