Q: Breast feeding in public a norm here?
I think I've seen my share ,..is it normal to breast feed in public here?
From my limited experience I would dare to reply yes. If the kid is hungry, and it is time, out with the breast and plug the kid in, no matter where.
I have seen this done in public buses, in passing cars, on the street, in stores, etc. But to me the real shocking experience was a dear and close friend had a baby, and she is reallt stacked. hile visiting my home, sitting in living room, in front of husband and me, the mama (my friend) lifted her blouse, poped up her bra and started feeding the baby. I was extremely embarrased, and got up, went to bathroom and came back with a towel, and placed it covering her. She asked me why and to remove it. I explained why, and she replied, "do not worry, we do not mind". The kid is almost 10 months old now, and she visits once a wek at least. So, I have gotten so used to it that sometimes do not even notice it.

She is just feeding her kid, get your minds out of the gutter! You arent in the 7th grade anymore....

GR, I do think breast feeding a baby is a wonderful and beautiful thing, besides very healthy for the baby. My previous experience with this came from watching my former wife do it with my children. But back home, many places have small private rooms for the special purpose of breast feeding. Never had a close friend, darn good looking, doing it 6 feet away from me. So, it was embarrising to an extent. But as I said, after a few times it became natural and stopped bothering me.
