I think no one knows the answer to this at the moment....
Either way I am glad we did it.

Because the EU will collapse in a few years so it is good we got out beforehand
Don't worry, western countries will always prop up China's economy. God knows why.
No offense to our British friends here, but the EU doesn't need the UK to exist, never did, so things between China and the EU will pretty much remain the same as before.
I'm a lot more concerned with the upcoming French elections than with Brexit, if the nationalists win and France leaves the EU, then the union will cease to exist.

No offense to the french, but Europe and Merkel has failed Europeans. lets hope for the best: the dismantle of the EU
The Eu has been a disaster for many European countries (except Germany of course) and brought advantages only to bankers, politicians and various kind of parasites. Whoever is pro eu is either a parasite or someone who doesn't live in Europe....
The British have never been Europeans and they never will be. They are still deluding themselves with visions of Empire and poo'bah and white supremacy. Historically every time they have made a mess of things in the last one hundred years, they have turned to the United States of America to bail them out. The First World War, the Second World War, Labour's ambitious nationalisation schemes after the Second World War, Suez, Iran, you name it. I am glad that they are gone from Europe ... all of their drunken and rioting soccer fans at European games and so forth and son. What did Napoleon write ... perfidious Albion or something like that.
And today the EU served notice that it is going to play hardball on Gibraltar....wonderful... and the Argentines are making noise again, with the support of all of South America, about las Malvinas, and Scotland wants to go its own way, and even Wales is talking about leaving. Never mind Northern Ireland ... that ugly problem is about to raise its head again and in my own lifetime I will see a united Ireland for sure.
And that will leave a rain sogged, whiskey laden little semi island of a small nation of about 30 milion or slow, smaller than Poland. But the real reason is more sinister ... the Brits in all of their provinciality cannot stand to see a united Europe dominated by a resurgent and economically powerful Germany. It may have lost two world wars but it has gained a United Europe, as it would have anyway without the intervening wars. There is a German work ethic, and there is excellent German quality control. No one ever talks about a British work ethic, because there is not one, and no one talks about British quality control because nothing is produced anymore in the UK.
Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.
