Q: Buying mobile phone

I am about to buy mobile phone, leaning towards Samsung Galaxy. What is the safe bet, is it better to order it online, like on Taobao, or go directly to some e-market. I don't mink buying a fake, as long as it is of good quality and reasonable price.

I bought once iphone for 350, needless to say I threw it away after couple of days, as it was terrible.

I was looking for Iphone last year,a bit expensive,my husband and I agreed

So finally  I bought a Samsung Galaxy at Teemall,Guangzhou ,it's been 1 and half years and Still working very well.

Don't buy a mobile on Taobao,I am confused about the quality.Yes,you can get a better price, but the quality.....Just go directly to some markets and have a close look.

taobao is not as unreliable as u think....

shops have credibility ratings... feedbacks etc etc... if u get used to the system.. u can very easliy pick cheap and genuine dealers..

i bought S3 in august:

http://tradearchive.taobao.com/trade/detail/tradeSnap.htm?spm=a1z09.2.9....

not prices might have dropped further:

also - a bit higher price but Tmall is guaranteed genuine..

There should be a reliable mobile shop in your city...the one in Xiamen (where I am) is Easilybuy...They get the phones from Hong Kong so no tax hence much cheaper....Got the HTC One S for 2500...sorry not a Samsung fan, maybe if Im looking for a washing machine

The safe bet is going to a store and buying a real one for the retail price.

You didn't mention anything about saving money so I think the other options are not as close to the 100% safe bet.

use taobao, i bought an HTC ONE X this summer and working great, last summer an samsung galaxy tab, still working great...just try to find a reliable seller, look for the seller rating, and keep in mind, if the price is to good to be true, it's a scam.!!!

Good luck(also try sunning if you wanna test it first)

Taobao is ok but not for expensive things as far as i'm concerned. I recommend buying ur galaxy 3 on amazon.cn for 3 reasons
1. You don't pay online..its all done in cash once u get ur things.
2.Ur assured of the quality..coz on delivery ur allowed to check ur staff before paying.
3.Atleast that's where i got my galaxy s 3. the phone is amazing for for it.lol.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
