I wonder about insurance fees

every city is different, I am sure, but a basic guess on costs would be appreciated.
fuel is not an issue, think it is actually cheaper here than most places on earth. Is it?

I once tried to buy a used car in China, despite warnings from my Chinese friends. I too thought that it should be a straight-forward process. But this is China, and I will never have such silly thoughts again.
cub:
xinyuren, why not upgrade and get a better car like a ''pre owned '' car instead of a ''used '' car? haha kidding! Has anyone here tried to ask a chinese what is the difference between a ''used'' or a ''pre owned'' car? if not ask and see what thier reactions and let me know ok?
be aware that a used car might have all fake spare parts
be aware that fuel might be cheap, but it might be watered down

My Car info
New Car: Y96,000 (Paid by credit card, split the card for 2 years, easy monthly payments from 2012 to 2014.) I I recommend this method if your Chinese wife or husband has a credit card, this also really helped my wifes credit score.
Parking At Home: Y250 every month
Gas: Y320 every two and half weeks. (Just work & home driving)
Car Insurance: 1s year: 5800 / 2nd year: Y4600 / 3rd year: Y4200 / 4th year Y4000.
As long as you don't get into an accident your cost will go down.
Parking around for shopping or eat: : Y150 every month.

Now buying a used car is "easy" and you're gonna have to check local laws if you are allowed to buy a car, Shenzhen used to allow but now I think they stopped making plate tags for foreigners. So check that out. Make sure IF your Chinese wife/husband can use their Hukuo to buy a car IF their Hukuo isn't from the city you live, work and want to drive in. Don't buy a known brand name car, buy a Chinese model, why? because parts are easier to get and cheaper to fix, heck it will even be cheaper to restore it. Foreign car parts will cost you an arm and a leg. I've been driving BYD for years now and only had to fix a loose battery wire, other than that its been great.
