Q: can an african from an english speaking country have an english teaching job

 to get a teaching job in China.  i am  from a Native English Country but i am getting difficulties in getting a job. PLease tell me what kind of JOb can i get where and how i can get them . I am an ADVANCE DIPLOMA holder in electrical engineering with a working experience of about 3 years as a refrigration and airconditioning technician and i also have a teaching experience of about a year and half. i was working for a company called THE GAMBIA TELECOMMINUCATION COMPANY (GAMTEL) But now i looking for a job as an english language teacher, part time or full time no problem.

-Well first you are black. So it's hard to get a job since Chinese people think English Speakers are white. Didn't say it's true, but that's the economic reality

-Second you don't have the two years of experience teaching English to get a good job in Beijing or Shanghai, or Guangzhou, so that works against you

-You could get a job, but it might not be legal, or pay all that well.

-It's China, so anything is POSSIBLE.

in the big cities they follow the law a little more, so south africa passports can teach english

Your English is terrible, you aren't a teacher, and you have no teaching experience. Do you expect to be treated well in China under those conditions?
