Q: Can anyone recommend any good China ring-tones for my phone?
Specifically for things like morning alarm, and ring tone for mother in law.
(I don't want to install any apps, just sound file downloads)
Is it any android phone? I just got a Google Nexus 4 and DL some ring tones apps, set ring tones I wanted, then deleted the app. My ring tone isTarzan yelling and msg is a transporter.
Do you want Chinese ring tones like car horns and roosters crowing?

If it's an Android you can just download any songs you like directly to your phone or transfer from your computer then select them as ringtones in settings.
I made ring tones before for my iphone, don't remember how I did it exactly, took a music clip from a CD, cut it and put it on itunes, then DL. I got directions from google.
the perfect ring tone for a kindy teacher at nap time would be Sweet Georgia Brown 
wait for CNY and go to a mall and just record that annoying music there
