e.g. if one is to try and survive in one of the more polluted cities? E.g. a taobao shop that sells masks that actually filter off some of the filth in the air

Hey, that's gut question.
I need too, and in kids size also

On the bottom, there is access to 'Toto & something' store.
Go on Taobao and search Totobobo.
I'm going to buy one myself in these days. Every time I spend more than 30min driving on highways I can feel the taste of burned gasoline in my mouth despite the air con in recycle.
Couple of days ago, spent 5 hours driving+traffic jams, got back home feeling like I've been smoking 2 boxes of cigarettes.

thanks. Googling a bit about Totobobo and it seems to be an OK brand for this purpose. It's possible to order directly from their site http://totobobo.com/hk/ to avoid paying a toaboa shop owner anything.

I have an american friend living in my community who's using it and he's pretty happy with the product.

I am already in one of the least polluted cities. Still it brings memories from when I was a pack a day smoker.
