Q: Can anyone tell me about the payment plan for China Unicom for the iPhone 5s?

Heard that I can do a 15 month contract at 396RMB/month. Can anyone give me information about this? All of the websites are in Chinese. Thanks!!

Please don't get it from China Unicom even with any plan. The phone can only use the SIM card from China Unicom. It would be useless with others SIM card.

Yeah and many features will be locked and it won't connect to other phones, that feature is also lock and the CPU is clocked at a low speed. China does this on purpose, That payment plan looks good but its not. Oh you must have a credit card now to get this payment plan. Before no, but now yes.

 

If your in Shenzhen, there's a place where you can get monthly payments but you need a chinese GF or Wife ID card.

I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
