Yes, it's as easy as walking into the local PSB with your visa and passport numbers, they do not need your original passport or FEC, the PSB has everything into their database.

Just an add on to Eorthisio, But it's a lot of leg work to cancel your visa and it cost them money and a lot of extra paper work

The key thing is that your school should have a copy of your Visa, otherwise it's very hard for them.. if your school doesnt, they would try to find some way to get it from you.
