For the billionth time multiplied by infinity....a person can ONLY legally work in China under a Z VISA.

The M visa is for people employed by foreign companies to come to China to conduct business, and is only valid for 30 days. Interesting side note: people with an M visa can only enter China through the Pudong airport in Shanghai.

A few strokes of the keyboard in any search engine will get you all of the information you need on an M visa, among other visa information.
