Why would they hire a stupid peasant with no teaching certificate. You could only get a job in a discount brothel.

How does your plan of starting your own company fit in with this Victoria. Do you think running a new start up and being a teacher can be done on a part time basis? I think you have a big surprise coming if this is so. Also the requirements for teachers in Europe is a little more professional than here. They expect people to be properly qualified as opposed to just walking up to a stranger on the street and asking if they want a job as a teacher just because he is foreign. This has happened to me a few times and it just shows how seriously China takes education, Europe sets their sights a few dozen rungs further up the ladder.

Some things to think about:

Any Chinese teacher I met in Europe were already teachers in China and were Party members. At the time, only Party approved teachers could work outside China.

Certainly any European country I am familiar with require teachers who are professionally trained teachers (i.e. someone with a degree in teaching).

as Tom points out above, foreign language teaching is taken way more seriously in Europe than it is in China.

Do the schools you  have applied to got websites you can check out?

If you are going through an agent in China who is asking for you to pay them money to get a teaching job in Europe, you could be being scammed.

Alternatively, it could a trafficker scamming naive females into prostitution - it does happen.

Victoria, i will be honest with you.

your responses online over the last couple of years show you don't have the necessary patience required to work with students even if you get accepted (which is unlikely as you don't have any teaching experience).

Focus on your current career if you want to be successful.

Do you want to be a teacher? You have no experience. You might find it boring or not to your liking.

 The only sure way to get a visa is to pay someone a ton of money to marry you and take you home. But there are rules against this, so much so that it makes getting visas difficult. l wonder how many marriages are scams for money if the goverments are so worried???

Vicky, you are in love with Europe. It's your dream to live and work in Europe. I say, yes, you should apply for jobs in Europe. When there is a will, there is a way. It may take years for you to achieve your goals, but if that's what you want, then you should totally go for it.

Follow your dreams and enjoy your life, just don't do bad things. Any human being telling you not to follow your dreams has a problem. I'm upvoting you... chase your dreams, Vicky!

Good luck to you in having an ambition and i hope you achieve it.

but here is the reality about trying to get a job in Europe:

A good Chinese friend of mine got her degree in Europe and was able to work for a year before having to return home - not her choice, but the law.

Once back in China she wanted to leave again but is prevented because of the restrictions the Chinese government place on single women who want to leave China. She is currently working hard in a foreign company based in Beijing, hoping to get the opportunity to leave. The married Chinese women i know in my home country are not seen as a risk because they have family and financial ties in China.

Many 'agents' often family members or friends of the family, offer non-European girls 'work opportunities' in Europe, usually in countries where they don't speak the language, asking for large sums of money to 'process' the application. Girls are met at the airports by their 'agents' who take their passports and force the girls into prostitution in order to repay the huge debt they have incurred in order to travel. Because they are there, usually on tourist visa's with the promise of a work visa, they are unable and possibly unwilling to contact the police, due to the language barrier. A family member of mine works in airport customs and has told me of the close scrutiny they take on all non-EU arrivals.

By all means try to get legitimate work, but this will be next to impossible unless you have a sponsor company who looks after the visa for you. Like traveling to Australia for work, you have to have skill that no-one else in Europe has.

Good luck with your dream, but remember your personal safety, especially in a country where you know no-one and can't speak the language.

I am more interested in why you applied for Chinese teaching jobs in Poland. Any special reasons?

The country isn't rich comparing with other eu countries and English is not their daily language. And it's not really an immigration country.

Was it because of the low cost?
