Q: Can I teach English in China as an Algerian citizen?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and I’m getting my TEFL soon, but I don’t have any teaching experience yet, and I’ve seen some jobs that accept beginners and offer Z visa sponsorship. Do I have a chance of getting hired and getting a work permit? I’m Algerian and a non-native English speaker. I’d really like to hear from other non-native English speakers who have experience teaching in China, especially Algerians. What was your experience like???

Hummmm. I already read the requirements and checked several websites, but I’ve also seen many non-native English speakers teaching in China and other countries like Japan. So I’m a bit confused by your answer. Do you mean that I’m not eligible at all, or that it’s just more difficult? Is it still worth trying and applying for jobs, or would you say I shouldn’t bother??

That is a lie, however you spin it!
Your imagination is blending with the real life ...
What I mean?
If you would read one of the links posted above, you would clearly understand that you don't stand a chance to be legally employed as a non-native English teacher nowhere in China or anywhere else in the rest of the world.
Should you apply?
Certainly, you should apply with consideration your non-English native teaching application is no different than application for a ride at the Cape Canaveral Space Kozmodrom.

I’ve genuinely seen non-native English speakers teaching in China and other countries, which is why I’m asking about the actual possibilities for someone in my situation. I understand that the requirements can be strict, but I’m simply trying to find out whether it’s worth trying as an Algerian with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and a TEFL certificate. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve seen you respond to questions in a very sarcastic way, and honestly, I find that quite disrespectful. People come here to ask questions and get advice, so even if the answer is “no,” I think it can be explained in a more constructive and respectful way. If you have firsthand experience with non-native teachers getting work permits in China, I’d genuinely appreciate your insight. Otherwise, I’d rather have a straightforward answer than sarcasm!!

Everybody needs a visa for China ...
The only way, non-English native passport holders can enter China is F visa, which is usually issued for 3-months stay (... with strict 'no-work' requirement!) and must be extended before the expiration or 'exit-China'.
F visa cannot be extended twice ...
So, you're telling us, you've seen many non-English native passport holders working as an E.T.s in China ...
Now, step away from the mirror!
