They have a way of not answering questions they do not understand or donw know why you ask. It is irritating, I know, but seems to be fairly common.

There is no such thing as a general question in China

it is either a question they understand or a question they feel that is to their advantage

Offer them your email address for message exchange, instead paying website chat. As soon as you get first reply, hook them up with Skype.

Change your photo often, till you don't find one which attracts more bees! lol

Be direct and as clear as possible do not send wordy emails. restrict your emails to one or 2 questions or sentences if possible . One question per email. when you are communicating with chinese use simple words.  it may seem rude , but this is china. rude is the way to go.

here is an example:

Hello FAO

I want to know when will the Fall semester start?

I need to know the exact start date of the Fall semester.

THank You

well if you are really tiredof it dont ask any settled lmao

According to my experience they do not reply in three cases:

1) The really do not want to reply because of so many reason..like when i asked for price list from my supplier..if i do not get reply from them within one business day..it clearly means they do not want  to give price list.

2) They do not understand your English or  email.

3) Whatever information you might need is not available with them right now..in this case also they do not reply. But whenever they will get that information they will reply you for sure.

yes they lack little bit professionalism and do not make you update that "right now we do not have information and we will get back to you as soon as information will be available." They always go in silent mode.

In their minds it could as simple as this.

"If I don't respond then I cannot be held responsible....for anything."

It's like when you go to the bank or almost anywhere else looking for information. Isn't it true that the first person will probably send you to someone else and in turn, they will tell you to go to another office and after that it's entirely possibly you will be sent to yet again, a third location. Of course that behavior pisses most of us off while for many of the locals, it's a part of their daily routine.

I thought the answer of choice for Chinese was no answer, followed by answer # 2 of ''why'' or answer #3 ''no why''. It's in the collective consciousness of all Chinese who will someday evolve into the Borg Collective. We will all be assimilated as resistance is futile. I just wish they would hurry up as I'm anxious for cybernetic implants.
