Q: Can you call the police for harrassment at ATM?
Yesterday I was at an ATM. It was one of those ATMs with a safety door, built into the outside wall of the bank. I made the mistake of not closing the door so a guy just walked in and stood right behind me. I told him to step back which he did, but he was lurking right at the doorway and kept asking if I'm done yet. I just ignored him and took my time. He wasn't even waiting for a minute but kept saying "are you don yet?" over and over. I was really anxious and wanted to make sure none of my bank notes were fake but in the end i just stuffed the notes into my wallet and left. As I left, he didn't even make room for me to get out so I had to shoulder him against the wall to get out of the cubicle. I was so angry I thought about calling the police. Would have been in the right to do so?

The only thing you could achieve by calling the Police is wasting 3 or 4 hours waiting for them to arrive and do nothing.
Besides, in my eyes, with what you explained there was no reason to call for a lack of courtesy. Next time close the darn door !
And make sure, at least as sure as you can be, that he didn't have one of those hand-held portable little machines that pick up your PIN number and serial number of your bank card. That is prevalent in parts of the country.
