Q: Can you get a business visa to China from Hongkong?

I am a Filipino passport-holder. I need to know whether I could get a business visa for the mainland while I'm in HK. And if so, where are the offices for this? Thanks for your help.

The last I know is that visas are issued in home countries of the passport holder. Unless you have a HK resident card, you'd probably have to go back to the Philippines to get it. You can try with the link below, they might be able to do something for you.

I can back those guys above up. You MUST have a HK ID card to get a F or M visa to come to China. Really its fact. This new law was made to stop you from coming to China long term and if I remember correctly FBT can only mail passports back to LA, U.SA for a new visa, but those passports can only be from qualified countries, meaning richer countries then PH..

No, choice I'm 99.9% sure you must go back to Mataki city, Ph to get this visa.

My RP expire on May 3rd. I signed new Contract with Uni in Jiangsu. I will leave present School with 30 days L, till June 3rd (I hope!), enough time for Uni to extend my RP.

I'll be in Jiangsu around May 7th. Agent is telling me, I might must go to HK for couple of days, and return to Jiangsu.

Do you understand purpose of 2 days exit in HK? I don't!

I know it's easier to renew a Visa for Filipinos in Haikou, Hainan.. It's morw open now and easier. I would just renew it within China, but but but, a high cost I heard from 11,000 to 20,000. Maybe.
