Q: Can you go home get new documents and get a new job

Was fired...don't know my options. I thought once fired you are released you get a letter. I don't understand why people respond with negativity. I think why I was terminated is irrelevant. Chinese people tend to hold grudges the hours I received is not what I signed up for I wanted to leave. Contract said I could not I went to work and home and that is how it happens. When you have other teachers that kiss ass and you don't then you tend to get complaints cause the school of course wans someone else just like the rest. My foreign counterparts enjoy getting screwed and I don't they signed up for 28hrs and I negotiated 18. I arrived and they said it would not be fair. The foreign teachers pretended to be friends with me told me they hated the job ect asked to buy weed with me. But go back and tell my employers I hate the job ect. So the email I received said I heard complaints from many people but I doubt that because I kept my interaction limited after the first issue of me being negative. I know some think you should just accept but I know what I can tolerate and I asked about the job and I did not get what I was told.

look on this as an opportunity to do some soul-searching and reflection on yourself.

if you have been fired as a teacher (and you really have to be an exceptional person to have had this done to you), are you really suited to teaching in China - or any other country?

Go home and take a good hard look in the mirror, you clearly did something wrong - probably the only work you will pick up in China if you remain now is illegal.

You have not even had the b***s to post with your alias on this site and share what exactly you were supposed to have done to warrant being sacked: people will assume the worst without any more information.

Dude 28 hours a week? I'm sure you were getting adequately paid for that.

Grow up and learn how the workplace works cos it's not the god damn playground.

If you were getting screwed over fine, but getting yourself fired is just stupid.

What a mature adult would have done is ensure they were good to find a new job. You should have just sucked it up and looked for something new, or looked into how to go about leaving this job that would make it easy to get a new one.

Complaining to your coworkers when you don't even know them?  Is this your first ever job?  You don't even know them. What? Because they're foreigners they're automatically your friends? You negotiated 10 hours a week less than them for the same pay and you expect them to be ok with that?  You just came to this company. Shut your mouth! Don't go to a new company and start slagging it or anyone off to anyone else. Rule no. 1, moron.

...They asked to buy weed with you?
Yeah... Maybe showing up for work high was a bad idea?
