Q: Can you name a popular chinese philanthropist?

I actually heard of one guy in a story not too long ago. I'm not sure if he was famous or not, but the story I read was kinda weird. I'm not sure which site I read the article but you will know what I mean. Do you know any famous or popular well known philanthropists in China? Jackie Chan could be one! Name another.

Maybe you are thinking of Li Ka Shing (Lee Kashing) who is a renowned philanthropist originally from the Mainland - but I think he made his fortune in Hong Kong and was a big deal in Vancouver, Canada too.

                Now.. well.. depending on who you talk to he was also a bit 'notorious' in how he earned the money (they seem to say that about any billionaire) but he has contributed huge money to a very long list of charities around the world!
