Q: can your company or school cancel your visa and doesn,t allow you to leave China?
I just wonder if you don,t agree with your school or company and decide leave China, can your company cancel your visa and doesn,t allow you to leave the country?. is is realistic that chance?
If your visa gets canceled you have to leave the country.
If you decide to leave China, your company can't stop you. The problem is, if you ever want to work in China again, you will probably need some paperwork from them. When you apply for another job, your last employer can cause you serious visa problems, especially if you skipped out on a contract.
Depends on what visa you have. They can cancel your residence permit but not without you. They can cancel your X visa, but not without you. They can't cancel your S, M, F or L visa. Because they are nothing to do with the company. Erm... maybe the M visa is, but that is short stay anyway.
Also depends on if you tell them you are leaving.
If you want to leave, just leave without telling them.
Unless you owe money to the PSB, I can't see anyone trying to stop you at the border on your way out.
