Q: Is carrying knifes illegal in China?

Kitchen knives, of course. Do they have to be secured or can i just carry my set of Chef knives like that, without risking getting stopped by a policeman?

Don't run down the street like an idiot wielding knives and you'll be set. If you have them in a roll kit Dexter style, that would be awesome, but don't show them to people on the street.

You can carry swords if you want......

But if the cops pull you up over it, you will have to say they are for training purposes.
