Q: Casting calls and auditions in China - where to look?
Breaking out into the film industry here in China has been an idea that I've flirted with for some time, I've auditioned for some parts and what not with the results being mixed.
If anything, my main issue is with the lack of resources that there seems to be with regards to actually finding out about all of the different auditions and casting calls going on across China. I've really tried searching (including me using this website), and it's difficult to find anything on most days. China is set to have to become the largest market for film so motion pictures must be being produced somewhere where foreigners are needed from time to time.
Would anyone have any idea in terms of general info, film agencies, China casting websites, Wechat groups etc?

When you go to auditions don't you ask the others auditioners about these sort of things?
Some of the candidates would have agents or are willing to talk about their experiences .
maybe look at advertising firms web pages and see if they have a agentcy they use .

I can't help you with your question but perhaps you would be interested in some projects I am working on. It is hard to fill some roles where I prefer to have foreigners. I sent you a PM.
