Q: Change job from Liaoning to Beijing
Hello friends
I am working as Spanish teacher in Liaoning province and I get a job as translator in Beijing. I would like to know with documents and procedures are necessary in Beijing for change a job position from one province to another.
For example, as far I know in Beijing you need your original degree diploma (I am not comfortable sending my diploma by Chinese mail) for get the work permit but I do not know is needed again for change job position, also I do not know what happen with my expert certificate because I will change the field of the job., etc

Best advice you could get out of the horse's mouth: 'enter SAFEA in search above for address and contact no. in your Province' and dial them for an advice.
SAFEA's other name is 'Foreign Expert Bureau', same Gov.'s office, which issued your Foreign Expert Certificate.
For transferring to another job and Province/city, you'll need Release letter and FECertificate cancelation letter.
By Chinese law, you must receive both documents in 30-days after your last working day.
I almost always dial SAFEA to receive both documents on time.
If you'll complete your Contract, School must take you to PSB for 30-days RPermit extension, and if you'll break the Contract, things can get hairy.
