Q: Cheap Masters in China ( in English)
I've decided to get my masters in China ( geography, teaching, curriculum...). I don't speak Chinese and would like to find a course in English. I'm ready to relocate to any northern/central province with standard mandarin. My budget is a bit limited,so not interested in top 5-10 universities and of course not in Beijing. Any 2-3 tier city is ok. Can you reccommend me sth?

If you want to take that degree outside of China to teach (much less teach English) you will quickly find out it's more worthless than a Chinese passport.
You could maybe offer it to a prospective employer as toilet paper, but that's it.
If you don't know why....ask google.

It's cheap because it's worthless. No company or school back home will hire you with a China master.
Probably Xi'an would be your best bet. Lots of universities, pretty cheap costs and lifestyle.
You may have to get the HSK 6 test done first.
I live in Hangzhou, and we have a pretty large foreign student population, attending the many universities here. Granted, many of them are studying Chinese, but there are others doing other majors - but I've never heard of anyone doing any of what you've asked about.
I'd suggest that most costal cities will have the universities that will take you - but maybe not in the things you seem to be interested in.
And, yes, many of these courses are in English!

As many people have already mentioned diplomas issued by most Chinese universities are not much valued abroad for now. If you want to make any use of your diploma you should try Tsinghua or Beijing University. Maybe they are expensive, but graduating from Hebei University or University of Inner Mongolia will certainly lead you nowhere. Studying in English in China will also lead you nowhere (in 99% of cases). And better be prepared to pass at least HSK 5.
Thanks a lot for your replies guys. My plan is to get masters and to teach in China geography or other related subjects like GIS, cartography, photogrammetry, topography etc. in China. Have work experience, but colleges require masters... and job offers are limited
