Q: Cheap Shanghai apartments?

On a budget of between 2,000-3,000 RMB a month, is there anywhere in Puxi (fairly central) where I can rent a small apartment or at least a decent sized bedroom in a flat share?

yeh sure Putuo district. not far from jing an and zhongshang park... you can try around cao an road station line 3 or zhenping road station line 3
