Q: Cheated by landlord! Where to hire debt collector or private security firm?
Dear all!
Long story short:
>Rented an apartment in Jingan (2600 as deposit, 5200 as 2 months rent)
>Lived there for one week and moved out
>I agree to leave the deposit as compensation (as mentioned in the contract)
>Landlord agrees to pay back 5200 (2 months rent)
>Landlord rents out apartment again and keeps delaying returning my money since 2 weeks
I called the police twice already and had them come to his office. No use. He agreed to pay the next day and delayed again. "No money".
Where to hire debt collector or private security firm?

I really dont have any ideas about how to go about it at all. but he is probably just biding time until you think you have no leg to stand on and just give up... so be persistent until you get it back. Landlords are like taxi drivers with money here, they always think they can rip off an unknowing foreigner
Whatever you do....don't give up! They are trying to stall you so u will eventually just say f**k it! That's the behaviour they expect (and get) from each other. A few years ago a school owner tried this tactic with me. I stuck with it and eventually got my money. It was 7000rmb.
I've suggested :- tel this landlord, for every kuai he keeps, you'll pay double that to someone to give him some colour to see see.... see how that goes down! 
buy a bat and a ski mask, collect your money in blood!
